Following their acclaimed performance at the Pavilion in April 24, “Let’s Rock the 70s” is back by popular demand. This show celebrates the greatest decade of rock music, and these super talented musicians Hazel O’Connor’s band are wowing crowds with their live performance of favourite classics.
This isn’t a tribute act these super talented musicians are Hazel O’Connor’s band. They have continued touring Since Hazel’s illness but have now developed their new show “Let’s Rock the 70s” celebrates the greatest decade of rock music, wowing crowds by bringing their favourite songs to the stage.
Veterans of Glastonbury and featuring at July’s annual Black Country Festival: Musicom 2023, these magnificent musicians have built a fabulous reputation over the years, as well as with Hazel O’Connor they have worked regularly with stars like Toyah Willcox, Carol Decker and Two Tone Legends, Pauline Black, (The Selecter) Neville Staples (The Specials), Rankin Roger (The Beat).
The Band’s fantastic live sound is mixed by Grammy Award winner Roger Lomas who produced Bad Manners, The Specials and toured with Roy Wood (to name just a few!)
Recreating the sound of the 70s, favourite numbers include Fleetwood Mac “Go your own way” Boston “More than a feeling” Peter Frampton “Show me the way” Elton John “Goodbye yellow brick road” Eagles “Hotel California” Mud “Tiger Feet” Paul McCartney and Wings “Live and let die” ACDC ”Highway to Hell”
Playing all the hits of the golden decade of rock music this show is established as a firm fans’ favourite on the tour.
